I didn’t want to waste the Darth print, so I took two canvases and screen printed the design on it. I am really pleased with how it turned out. I gave one to my buddy for his birthday and kept one for myself.
Sleepy Dan is preparing for another round of designs to be released during his Series 2 release party at the Plush Gallery. I cannot wait for this event! It’s happening on Saturday June 16th from 6-9pm. I am honored to have been selected to submit an original piece for this nights event. I am stoked to see all the other awesome designs that will be showcased as well. I hope you can all make it out. I hear that Sleepy Dan will be doing a live screen printing with an exclusive design that you will receive for free (50 first purchases) if you nab one of the t-shirts from the release. Vinyl Thoughts 2 Dallas,TX; hands down is one of the greatest art shows for the established and the upcoming artiest. This years event was out of control! The theme was “Level up” as you can see from the photos it was a nerds wet dream..hand sculpted video game icons from all ages coming to life right before your eyes. If you missed it….make sure you never do that again.
I so happy right now that everyone is loving the Series One button set. Just got an email from a fan that is rocking the buttons 80’s style..love the jean jacket! Makes me want to go get an old acid washed one and do a stencil on the back maybe throw some spikes on there for old times.
